Back in 2011 I was asked if I would like to be a part of the Big Brothers & Sisters Program to mentor an 8th grader. I decided it was definitely something I would love to do and it was then that I met my little sister Yahaira. We were a perfect match! I watched her graduate from 8th grade a couple of months after we met and now I have the honor of watching her cross the stage again, this time as a senior in high school. Over the last few years we stayed in touch and I couldn’t be happier we did. This is only the beginning sis, and you better believe the best is yet to come. I’ve said it a million times but I will say it again and again, I am so proud of you and your accomplishments! Congratulations to my beautiful little sis, I’m blessed to have been chosen for you and sorry to say but you’re stuck with me forever!!! Love ya sis!!
